David Was born in Watford and spent his formative years growing up in Bushey, Hertfordshire. drawing and painting was an subconscious nessesity and music always seemed to be a natural spinoff from life itself, thats why he became a butcher as soon as he left school. from an early age he wanted to be three things, A butcher, a Pop Singer and a German soldier. somehow he managed all three and more.
At the age of Sixteen he was asked to join a comedy Mime truope based where he was working as a Butcher, they played as the 'Power of eight' and were soon getting bookings from venues around Watford.
He taught himself to play the guitar and was invited to form a small Band with which they played the Pubs and Clubs in and around Watford.
In the Middle 70's David turned fully professional and went to work for many Summer season at Warners Holiday Centres on the South Coast after his first Year he was asked along with his then double act/Comedy Partner to appear in Pantomime At the Wakefield Theatre club alongside top northern comedian Bobby Knut.
from then on for the next 30 Years he worked in Panto eventually with his Own Theatre Company which he ran with his wife Teresa. along the way he appeared in many TV and Film Productions as an Actor until 1997 when he decided that he wanted to take his Art more seriously so wewnt to West Herts college where he obtained an Access diploma in Art and Design then went on to University where he eventually got his BA Hons degree in Fine Art.
He now exhibits on a regular basis and teaches art to many age groups.
He still plays Guitar and keyboards and writes his own music.
